Our journey begins at the edge of the Arctic Circle, amidst the challenging waters surrounding Pite-Rönnskär Island. Here, the elements test the mettle of the most hardened adventurers. With their capricious currents and weather, it is a legendary kayaking haven for the fearless. Guarding this domain since 1880 is a lighthouse, an emblem of ingenuity once hailed as a technical wonder.
It is this blend of daunting nature and a legacy of innovation that sparked the genesis of the Point 65 brand.
GLOBAL INNOVATORS
In 2009, Point 65 transformed kayaking with the launch of our Tequila! modular kayak, equipped with the patented Snap-Tap™ take-apart system. This breakthrough shifted us from a boutique sea kayak maker to a global brand. Our lineup now spans family kayaks, durable fishing models, to high-performance touring kayaks. Point 65 remains a leader in kayak innovation, consistently raising the bar in the industry.

The world renowned kayak designer, instructor, and author, with a career spanning teaching, kayaking instruction, and environmental education has been head of R&D at Point 65 Sweden since 2007.
His influence is pivotal, where his innovative designs, extensive expertise and unparalleled experience continue to inspire paddlers worldwide, shaping the future of kayaking.
